Method of Participation
There are no fees for participating in and receiving credit for this activity.
During the period March 2023 through March 2025, participants must:
1) read the learning objectives and faculty disclosures, 2) study the educational activity, 3) complete the posttest by recording the best answer to each question, and 4) complete the evaluation form.
A statement of credit will be issued only upon receipt of a completed activity evaluation form at the end of the module. Statements of credit will be issued via email following the completion of the module.

Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of Clinical nephrologists; established and aspiring interventional nephrologists, fellows and residents, nephrology or advanced-practice nurses interested in POCUS.
Statement of Need/Program Overview
Health providers in the nephrology and dialysis access/interventional field need to better understand Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) and utilize this tool in their practice.
This program hopes to address the need for awareness of POCUS as a tool in the practice of field of nephrology. The desired outcome of this program is to improve understanding of the use of POCUS in Nephrology and in turn impact patient care outcomes by provide with the use of this valuable tool.
Learning Objectives
As a result of this activity, the participant should be better able to:
• Explore POCUS and its current applications in Nephrology
• Discuss the application of POCUS to dialysis patients
• Discuss the education of POCUS in nephrology
